The Function Of The Lymph:
- Healing
Is to carry white blood cells (Lymphocytes) for the immunity against infection and to carry cellular waste back into the blood stream for disposal.
There are two types of fluid in the body. One being blood and the other being Lymph Fluid. The Lymphatic system is the only way through which toxins can drain from the matrix of the body.
Very little material is transported through the vascular system, and if the lymph drainage is poo, more toxins will stay in the cellular matrix. Toxins can be hydrophilic, and cause water retention and matrix oedema which will be compounded if there is poor lymph drainage.
If it is expected that the toxicity has reached the matrix level, it needs to be addressed in a very specific manner. With mild toxicity it will suffice to increase the lymph drainage with certain supporting products, i.e. supplements and herbs. However with increased toxicity other supports may need to be used.
Exercise is vital in moving the lymph fluid through the body and one of the best forms of exercise is jumping on a mini trampoline. Or, bouncing up and down on the tips of your toes, supporting the body with your hands on a piece of furniture.
Another very useful; source of moving the lymph fluid through the body is dry brushing the skin in an upwards motion on the body daily prior to showering. Movements, from the feet upwards towards the heart for the best drainage.
